MEET JOHN SPRINGSTEAD
Interested in remodeling or renovating your home? That’s exciting! I love taking people through this process. When it is well-communicated, planned and done together, it will be a positive experience you will tell family, friends, and colleagues about for years. It will also result in a finished home you are proud of.

Born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, my construction interests started in 1989 when I found and attended Eastern Maine Technical College in Bangor, Maine. I spent 2 years in the classroom and on the job learning about all aspects of residential construction. During the summers, I worked for a roofing company and a contractor that built decks and small additions. After graduation, my brother and I started our first construction company with some fliers, some tools and our youthful enthusiasm.
Throughout my career in construction, which started with me carrying lumber, I worked my way up the chain of command performing all tasks related to residential construction, including: roofing and siding, drywall, tile, and every type of carpentry. I then transitioned into leadership roles such as lead carpenter, foreman, project manager, and home inspector. Since 2011, I am the proud owner of John Springstead Construction, LLC.
My passion for the construction industry is constantly growing, and my experience in all aspects of building, at many levels and in many capacities, enables me to ensure a smooth process and a beautiful, finished product that you will call home.
My other passion is family, and when I’m not working, I am with them.I am the proud father of five daughters: three amazingly smart young women from my first marriage, and two energetic and fun-loving girls
with my wife and best friend since 2005. She and I spend a lot of time watching our little ones participate in ice hockey, softball, gymnastics, soccer, basketball, swim and any other activities they are passionate about.
In 2020, I was excited to welcome my daughter Shannon into the business. She currently serves as pre-construction manager, project coordinator and lead estimator. She has quickly adapted to the construction industry, is a valuable asset, and I am thrilled to grow my business with her alongside me.
